Sparrow Hawk
Alcohol by Volume: 5.2% This "brewer’s special" is made in the traditional manner of actually using roasted and charred grains. This smooth dark porter is a real treat. Did you know that porter beers were actually a mistake when a brewer in good old England "burnt" his mash and than sold it to the porters working the docks for a nickel a glass just to get rid or it. The joke was on him, when the "porter special" ran out, the porter demanded more and thus we now have porter beer! |
